I am not from Moscow, and not even from Russia, and like many others, I was faced with the choice of who I should have the operation with.

About choosing a doctor

Almost all urologists had the same answer, that this is such a trifling operation, which they do in batches every day, what is there to photograph? That's when they install an artificial penis, yes, they take pictures, but why take pictures of circumcision ?! Only one urologist was able to show me one photo of his work - what I can focus on, but I was already well aware, thanks to the forum, of how good circumcision results can look like and immediately realized that what they offer me, to put it mildly, does not correspond my expectations. The cost of the operation at local urologists would be 5-10 times lower than the cost of operations in Moscow, but my penis and my health were at stake, so finances were not at all a decisive factor here.
I carefully studied the Internet in search of urologists in my country from other cities, and yes, I saw the results of the work on their websites, forums, YouTube, but they are not even close in aesthetics compared to the work of Anton Vasilyevich Babykin and Svetlana Andreevna Malakhova.

I developed inflammation on the head of the penis, with which I went to various urologists and dermatologists for 5 years.
At first, there were small red rashes, then small scars began to form, which increased in size. Over the years, the affected area only increased, and if it started with a small area, then in the end about 2/3 of the head was affected.
Handed over various analyzes several times in a circle, including for STDs - nothing was found.
I tried a bunch of ointments (Pimofukort, Triderm, Zovirax, etc.), drank 5 different antibiotics, including a long course for 21 days, but I never got rid of the problem.
Over the past year, I again passed all possible tests in a circle, and was treated by a dermatologist, we tried almost all possible antifungal drugs, but the problem remained.
After the changes characteristic of leukoplakia (a precancerous condition of cells) were found in my last cytomorphological analysis, I also went around 3 urologists who diagnosed chronic balanoposthitis and strongly recommended that I be circumcised.
At the consultation, Anton Vasilyevich said that the photo shows a narrowing of the foreskin - phimosis, and this is the cause of my balanoposthitis. I was very surprised, earlier I thought that phimosis is when the head does not open at all, but after all, it has always been easy for me to open, the frenulum has never been torn. And yet I had phimosis because there was a slight constriction of the foreskin which I never noticed.
As I understood from studying the comments on this forum, the cause of balanoposthitis with narrowing of the foreskin is associated with a deterioration in blood microcirculation in the foreskin and a decrease in local immunity, which opens the door for fungi, bacteria, and other unwanted inhabitants.
During the surgical treatment of chronic balanoposthitis and phimosis, it is extremely important to remove the entire foreskin and the narrowing zone. This is such a basic thing, but it's amazing how many other doctors leave a large area of the foreskin and even a narrowing zone when circumcised - of course, this does not solve the problem with balanoposthitis and can create some other problems, for example, lymphedema that does not go away, so it is extremely important that the operation be performed right.
Also, during the circumcision of the foreskin, the frenulum should always be removed. The correct frenulum plastic technique implies its complete removal, without any protruding scallops, only completely.
I had the entire foreskin and the constriction zone removed, i.е. the circumcision took place "under the head" and a frenuloplasty was made.
There is one thing that I don’t like - after the operation, the seam will fit a couple of millimeters on the corolla of the head, thereby hiding the pronounced contour of the head, and during an erection, during friction, there is almost no groove due to the tension of the skin sewn to the head - an almost smooth line occurs there. Ideally, I would like the seam to be exactly under the head and the space of the rim of the head would not be hidden.
Half a year later, after the operation, the red replenished spots on the head did not disappear, I again went to the dermatologist and underwent several courses of treatment, but to no avail.
A year later, there are still inflamed spots, less than before the operation, but the problem has not completely gone away, but itching and discomfort have decreased.

Scrotal Web
At the examination of one of the urologists, when discussing the details of the proposed operation, he pointed out that I have a scrotal web, which I had never heard of or thought about, and as far as I understood from the explanation, this can become a problem after circumcision.
At the consultation, Anton Vasilyevich confirmed that I have a scrotal web and it is recommended to fix it for aesthetic reasons, so that after circumcision the scrotum does not stretch to the penis, especially during the use of a condom: so that the skin of the scrotum does not prevent the condom from rolling out to its full length and not twisted it back, during frictions.

Left side varicocele grade 3, Marmar Surgery
During my first visits to urologists 5 years ago, I was diagnosed with a grade 3 varicocele in my left testicle and recommended to have it removed surgically.
At that time, I wanted more to solve the problem of inflammation of the penis head, and because varicocele did not interfere with my life, I did nothing.
There were no constant pains, but occasionally I felt mild aching discomfort in the area of the left testicle.
The left side of the scrotum was very sagging and a large varicose vein was visible in it.
The left-sided varicocele was confirmed by Doppler ultrasound and there was also deterioration in the semen analysis.
After the operation, it is recommended to wear slimming underwear for 3 weeks and this is a very correct recommendation. Without tight-fitting underwear, when the scrotum hangs by itself, it is very painful to move around, and even around the house, on the way to the closet, or for new underpants, I had to support the scrotum with my palm. The most comfortable were slimming trunks like shorts.
Half a year later, he did a follow-up ultrasound, which confirmed that the operation was successful. There is no more backflow of blood, the veins have shrunk.

Rough scar after appendicitis
10 years ago I had appendicitis. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and operated on almost immediately. There was no opportunity to choose a doctor and somehow stipulate the aesthetic part of the operation, as a result, the operation was performed, the appendicitis was removed, but they sewed me crookedly, and the tissues were at different levels, a huge rough scar remained. Over the years, the scar began to look better, but I was still not satisfied with its appearance.

If you are from Moscow, ignore this section, and non-residents and foreigners may find something useful here.
Here I will list very basic and familiar things for experienced travelers, but I am writing this primarily for those who do not have sufficient travel experience and doubt about coming to Anton Vasilievich only because of fear of the uncertainty of a trip to Moscow. Even if there was no previous experience of traveling outside the native city, a trip to Moscow should definitely not be a somewhat stopping factor from choosing Anton Vasilievich.

First, I sent letters to the doctor's email [email protected] where I described my problems and attached photos, then we agreed on a time for a consultation. We had an hour-long consultation with Anton Vasilyevich via WhatsApp, where we went through all my problems in detail, as well as all organizational issues. If you plan your trip in advance, the operation can be matched with good tickets. Sometimes tickets for some dates can cost 2-3-5 times cheaper than the standard price and the flight itself costs like several taxi rides, but for this, you need to monitor different dates and maybe even different months. It is cheaper to buy tickets in advance than at the last moment.
Thanks to flights, the distance to Moscow is now calculated in a matter of hours, so don't let the distance get in the way of a beautiful dick.
Taxi
I was not vaccinated against the coronavirus and did not get sick, it was a fundamental moment for me not to catch the coronavirus on the trip, so I massively avoided public transport wherever possible. Instead of public transport to get to Moscow, I chose a taxi.
Upon arrival, I installed the Yandex Go taxi app. It is convenient to order, the interface is in different languages, cashless payment in the mobile application or in cash to the taxi driver.
From Vnukovo Airport to the hotel The academic trip cost 671 rubles ($9) and took about 30 minutes.
The trip from the Hotel to Domodedovo Airport cost 971 rubles ($13), and took about 50 minutes.
Accommodation
I searched for and booked accommodation using the service https://booking.com - the largest hotel booking service. It is more convenient to search from a computer, but I recommend booking only through a mobile application - this way the price will always be lower.
There are many different accommodation options on booking, but for the surgery, it is better to choose hotels, because everything will be standardized as much as possible and there will be practically no surprises associated with the human factor.
For me, the main search criterion was the geographical proximity to the clinic where the operation takes place. I stayed at the Akademicheskaya Hotel. It is located on the same street, 300-400 meters from the Medprime clinic. 3 stars.
Any room comes with breakfast included, but I also recommend paying a little extra and taking dinner included. Breakfasts and dinners - a huge buffet where you can choose any food and in any quantity, it is not possible to stay tasty and hungry.
I booked a room for 3 nights for 9537 rubles ($132) with breakfast and dinner included. It's around $44 per night. The room was on the top floor with a gorgeous panoramic view of Moscow. The room is very clean, large double bed, plenty of clean towels, a bathrobe, a private bathroom, a large work desk, and a refrigerator.
For 3 nights, because these are the most comfortable terms for the rest after the surgery, I got:
I arrived in the evening, checked in, had dinner, and slept properly.
The next day, I skipped breakfast, because. it was not possible before the surgery due to spinal anesthesia.
There is a pharmacy near the hotel, where I bought all the necessary dressing supplies and also looked into the supermarket, where I bought a sushi set the next day, which I put in the refrigerator. Then there was an operation, after which I walked with my feet to the hotel without any problems, had dinner at the hotel again, and went to bed.
The day after the operation, I went to breakfast, for lunch I got food stored in the refrigerator, then there was dinner at the hotel. This day is really better to spend entirely in the hotel and not leave on this day.
On the last morning I had breakfast, got to the airport, and flew away. There are no problems with the flight after the operation.
Surgery
I came to the clinic at the appointed time, filled out paperwork at the reception, issued an agreement, and was escorted to the ward.
In the ward, they give out a bathrobe, slippers, and a comfortable bed.
Then there is a pre-operative conversation about the operation itself, the desired result, the nuances, ultrasound, and discussion of anesthesia.
Separately, I want to thank Globov Vladimir Viktorovich for the excellent anesthesia. Initially, I was afraid to do spinal anesthesia, because I have hernias and protrusions in the spine, but he convinced me that everything will be fine with the spinal cord, do not worry. I showed the conclusion of the MRI examination, which helped the anesthesiologist to choose the right area of the spine, where there are no problems with the discs and where anesthesia should be performed.
They invite you to the operating room, you walk carefully along the narrow path that they show you, and you lie down on the table.
Then the medical magic begins, I was given spinal anesthesia and a sleeping drug, it didn’t hurt, and I quickly fell asleep.
My operation took 4 hours, I woke up only at the end. The doctor showed the result of the operation.
I feel good, there was no pain, there were no unpleasant after-effects after anesthesia, and nothing bleeds.
My legs were already walking, they helped me get to the ward, where I went to bed, and they brought me a warm drink and chocolate.
They answered all my questions, told me about the status of the surgery, gave all the necessary recommendations for the recovery period, and showed me how to do the dressing.
Without problems, on my own, I walked 300 meters to the hotel and went to dinner.
Recovery after surgery
This is perhaps the most unpleasant moment that you just need to wait out for a month.
The hardest part is the sexual abstinence, not the bandages. I didn’t know at all what to do with a girlfriend during this period - should I sleep in different rooms? Should I avoid topics with the slightest hint of a sexual part? But in practice, it turned out that it depends on internal motivation and discipline. There were no problems sleeping in the same bed without clothes. Also, after the briefing that I couldn’t do it for one month, there was support and understanding. Interestingly, this period can also have a positive side - this is a variety in long-term relationships when there is strong excitement that cannot be satisfied and all sorts of vulgar jokes and flirting begin. For 2 weeks, it is necessary to do three dressings a day, treating with Chlorhexidine and Levomekol. Avoid strenuous exercise to avoid sweating.
During this period, the wounds were practically dry, there was quite a bit of blood in the first days, but then this also passed.
There was no pain at all, even in the first days after the operation.
During dressings, it is very convenient to use the Peha-Haft self-locking bandage 4cm x 4m, but it is not sold in my country, so if you are not from Russia, then it makes sense to check local availability and if not locally, then buy it in any Moscow pharmacy for the whole dressing period. For me, 5 rolls were enough for almost 3 weeks of dressings.
I want to share a lifehack that helped me a lot, but I warn you Anton Vasilievich does not approve of it. After the operation, the head is somewhat edematous/swollen and the jet is sprayed in all directions, constantly striving to soak the bandage. If the dressing gets wet, it needs to be changed. In order not to change the bandage every time, after each trip to the toilet, I took a 10k syringe and cut off the bottom with a needle tip from it, as a result, I got a hollow plastic tube, it is very convenient to substitute it to the urethra and pee through it. Then not a single drop seeps into the bandage. For two weeks, this circumcised syringe became an integral part of my life, where I am, there he is. It was especially valuable away from home, in public toilets.
After 23 days, I removed the stitches - this is the most painful part of the entire postoperative period, but then you have to be patient and you're done. The penis sutures were removed without problems by the girl with nail scissors, but I turned to the surgeon for the removal of intradermal sutures - this is not an easy task for an unprepared person, a task that a professional must perform. Although in my case, even the local surgeon who removed the stitches screwed up - he did not pull out all the pieces of the thread. Half a year later, a piece of thread 5 cm long was pulled out of the scar at the site of Marmar's operation. If possible, remove the stitches by Anton Vasilyevich, everything will be fine.
Starting from day 29, I could have sex. After the resumption of sexual activity, the first time it did not work out, but all subsequent times everything worked out.
Сoagulated vessels from coagulation appreciably resolved only by the end of the 2nd month, after 3-4 months they were no longer felt at all.
For the doubters
If there is no medical reason for the operation, it is worth once again carefully weighing the pros and cons. Best the enemy of the good. Personally, without medical evidence, I would not have given up to be circumcised due to loss of sensitivity. But choosing Babykin is difficult to remain dissatisfied.
If there are medical grounds for the operation - there is no doubt, that you need to do the operation with Anton Vasilyevich, and you will surely be satisfied with the result.

Help for patients from OTHER CLINICS after circumcision - required for careful study. Know what you may expect if you decide to do with another doctor. Don't play Russian roulette on your pee. The chance that you will be hurt by another doctor is much higher than that of Anton Vasilyevich.

Sensation of sex
I never had problems with rapid ejaculation, and before the appearance of balanoposthitis, the duration of sex was from 20 minutes to 40 minutes, sometimes if there was a desire for longer, up to an hour and a half, I regulated the intensity of the friction, I feel an orgasm is approaching - it slowed down.
But after my penis head became inflamed and painful, it became more sensitive, the average time was reduced to 5-10 minutes. All this went on for about 5 years, while I ran to the doctors, treated with ointments and pills, and eventually had an operation to remove the foreskin.
In the first weeks, after circumcision and the restoration of sexual life, during sex, the feeling was that I had an erect, insensible wooden stick. A month later, the sensations were already better, but still, the penis head was practically not sensitive. The orgasm was achieved more by stimulating the base of the penis, closer to the torso. Previously, the most sensitive part was the glans/foreskin. I reached the final level of sensitivity about half a year after the operation. Since then, the sensitivity has not changed. Now, during sex, I do not feel any single sensitive area, the sensations are dispersed throughout the penis. The trunk of the penis is even more felt than the head.
The duration is now in the range of 5-15 minutes, if desired, it can be much longer. The intensity has increased significantly. Previously, if I switch to a very intensive mode, the ending happened quickly enough, I was not able to have sex for a long time and intensively. Now, due to reduced sensitivity, it is necessary to conduct sexual intercourse very intensively all the time, otherwise, it will not be possible to finish. The girl is very pleased with the intensity, but my physical activity has increased many times, now it resembles sports training in terms of the intensity of physical activity.
After the circumcision, I lost the pleasure of blowjob, for the first 8 months I couldn’t finish at all, I didn’t have enough pleasant sensations.
